oh yes... actual artist pictures are much worse than just booty shots...
I guess this picture will really get the site pulled from safe listings too...??
It isn't about whether we think it is appropriate or not, it is simply that it was a nude of a woman. Yeah, it is black and white so you can call it artsy, but it is a nude and will be classified as such. Your pictures are actually only red X's on my work computer because the company software has already blocked them. SOME places would simply block this whole website because of them. THAT is what we DON'T want. We love the photos, she is definitely good to look at, but we need to try to keep this sight safe for work, kids, and so on.

here is another black and white- with a nude woman...that "can be called artsy" --- definitely NOT safe for kids - better NOT have them go to the MET museum...
guess after 4 years of an art degree with lots of art history and art appreciation classes...I just don't understand that whole censorship idea... the difference between art and pornography... but I can "call it art"

Not disagreeing with you in the difference between art and pron, but I don't think any "net nanny" programs distinguish between pr0n nudity and art nudity. I also know a few prudes that think nudity in ANY form is corrupting and evil. YMMV.
No need to get pissy. We definitely appreciate the view, and we aren't trying to censor you. We are trying to keep the forum from being censored. Also, that image is blocked as well.

I'm sorry tommy ---- just guess I'm trying to understand your thinking... you object to my artsy nudes here... but where were your objections when you posted your replies in this thread... https://www.fiero.nl/forum/Forum6/HTML/086782.html
my artistic nudes immediately raised objections from you... but this picture didn't... your only comment was: "That guy must still be in the closet." interesting.
only nurb had any objections to the above post... and was only upset it didn't have a NSFW labeling... not that it was posted...
please explain, is it all my pictures that are worse than the one of people having sex... or just a specific one?

You can show a woman's ass crack on tv, you can't show a woman's full bare front with nipples and bush on tv. I'm sure someone with your wealth of art-schooling can tell the difference between full frontal nudity and ass crack.

yes... now I understand... thankyou... showing two people fracking is much more appropriate for work and children than an artistic female nude

thank you for clarifying that for me...
I wasn't making a personal call on what I personally feel is appropriate or inappropriate. I PERSONALLY see absolutely nothing wrong with the pictures you posted. I find them tasteful and pleasant to look at. I was simply saying that your pictures were within the realm of what many business censorship programs would deem inappropriate and could increase the risk of this forum being blacklisted. Is it stupid? Sure. Annoying? Absolutely. The way it is? You better believe it. As I said, your pictures are blocked at work for me. The one you referenced? Nope. It shows up perfectly. Nothing in that picture would be off limits for CBS or NBC either, but yours WOULD be. I'm not saying it's right, it just IS.
Cliff gives us a bit of leeway with this thread... stop rocking the damn boat.
let cliff delete the pictures then... because I see nothing wrong with them... it's his site and his privilege to do so... but it seems to me... both ends of the boat are getting rocked here...
for the record... there are very few pictures in the 188 pages on this thread that are appropriate for my worksite - I just don't look at this at work... if actualy appropiate-ness for family and work is trully the decisive factor - then this entire thread should have been deleted after page 1, otherwise it's a duplicious mockery of what is appropriate for a family/work friendly site.
personally, I believe exposing the entire family to tastful art is a good thing... an opinion shared by the majority of the art community and museums throughout the world.
the lady in the pictures... her mother, sister, 3 teen daughters... my father, sister, brother, and many of my friends have seen all the above pictures (well, maybe not the hoops and yoyo pic - but all of Austin saw that in real life) .... and all seem smart enough to know the difference between them and "naughty" pics.

Computer programs aren't good enough to tell vulgar from tasteful the way you or I can...yet. And "don't look at this thread at work" makes good sense, but if this whole website gets blacklisted because of one thread it would be a shame.

Yes, the average, common sense mature human knows the difference, but computer programs and closed-minded, zero tolerance policy makers almost assuredly do NOT know the difference between tasteful nude art and smutty pron, and, unfortunately, that's what we are forced to deal with.
one followup observation... in Austin... It's completely legal for a woman to go topless walking down the street ... and is common at such places like the very - kid packed - family oriented Barton Springs swimming pool. In fact, total female nudity is legal as long as the actual genitalia is not exposed (as in spread lippage)
I've seen women breast feeding walking down the grocery store isles...
my argument for the site being blocked at a specific worksite... so what? that's a specific worksites issue... some worksites will block sites because they have ads on the site. should all ads also be removed because of every different worksites possible blockers?
if this site has to cater to all the closed minded work site admins out there... then all Fiero info should also be removed... afterall... Ford and Chevy Inc might have blockers that prevent pictures of Pontiacs.

So what is it? Are you an art major or an engineer? You list yourself as an engineer in your profile but you spent 4 years as an art major?
Art is subjective, isn’t it? What I say is art another can say is p0rn. Something I find unusual is that you just joined and are pushing the envelope so to speak. As far as what is allowed here.
Me I could care less if you post nudes, but if there are kids in the room. Like when my grandsons were visiting a month or so ago I wouldn’t want them to view any of the pictures you have just posted. And I ain’t no prude, believe me. I consider a lot of things artistic that others consider p0rn.
Please consider the fact that many, many of our members are young, under 18, and many of our members have children that just might be watching.
Just a warning as some of this just might get you banned, real quick by some members. Also it wouldn’t hurt you to resize your pictures so they don’t make us scroll from side to side. Steve

I really use to like this thread and now it's turned into another he hate, we hate, everybody hates thread... alot of that happening on PFF lately... so sad
what someone say the other day "can't we all just get along"
Some a$$holes get real pleasure out of pushing the envelope and forcing their I'll-post-whatever-I-want attitude down everyone else's throat. In doing so, they take what was a good thing and ruin it for everybody. But then they somehow justify it to themselves and lay the blame on someone else, not even realizing THEY ruined it. Well, all I can do is give ya a big fat neg rating, and hope others who feel as I do will give one too.

gosh let's see.... at 52 years old... no way I could have more than one thing on my resume... everyone is one dimensional.
in the late 70's to early 80's I got a BFA from the University of Texas - Austin... It's what brought me to Austin (from the happening town of Waco) specifically - majored in sculpture, minored in photography (that was before digital BTW - had to know how to actually develop film)
but guess what... hard to really make a great living at photography... so in 88, went back to school and majored in computer science... 2.5 years in, I switched to engineering design - kind of a merger or art and computer science. for 14 years, I have now design integrated circuit computer chips - Last 6 years I have worked for Advance Micro Devices here in Austin. Know that new AMD Fusion chip you might have running your new lap top? Yeah... I did 100% of the physical layout design of all the core's clocking circuits. If you aren't familiar with it... here's a safe for work (unless you work for INTEL) link to a Best in Show article about it: http://news.softpedia.com/n...w-Award-199612.shtml
anyway... Sorry to disappoint you on calling me out as to "What is It" guess what... I also own a Mobile Discjock business and DJ on the weekends... wow... he can do 3 things? wow.
Also have worked several years in an environmental pesticide analysis lab and I can run gas and liquid chromatography with the best of them. Cooked burgers in a Dairy Queen, was a Dept manager for Safeway, did a short part time Christmas stint at UPS, taught Ballroom dance, worked as a fitness coach, worked in a large bakery, drove a few tractor trailors. and.... worked as DJ in topless clubs and as a bouncer in biker bars. All of my life I've worked 2 jobs or worked and gone to school (and always to paid 100% of my own way)...
People can be more than one thing in life and be knowledgable about more than one subject and yes... even multi-degreed . Especially old geezers like me. (Though I am behind my sister who has 4 different degrees varying from music, to business,to counselling, to a doctorate in psychology.)
yep, you're right... I've not been on here for as long as some of the rest of you (though it isn't like I just joined yesterday either).... I guess that negates me from having an opinion as valid as yours... Please enlighten me, exactly at what moment in the membership clock does expressing opinions - about art vs. pornography, censorship or anything else - kick in.

Prick.
Go away.
ahh... my "art photos" are not family friendly - but your cussing and name calling above is... so... appropriate... for all the children... nice that we all haven't lowered the intellect down to cheap name calling...
I still stand by my opinion that if the true point of censorship is to actually make this forum family and work friendly... it is dupliciously hypocritical to want to delete the art photos...and not to delete the entire thread, since 90% of the pictures on the 180+ pages in this thread are unacceptable for children or work. as are the 56 other threads in the O/T that are labled NSFW adding NSFW and putting pictures of couples having sex... isn't what I consider family friendly.
now... granted, if the only reason to censor "certain" items and not others is to see what can be slipped by the work censors successfully.... and NOT about the integrity of the site... then... by all means... run a test of all the "naughty" pics, words, cussing, video links, photo links, and the various pornography links that I have already seen in abudance here... leave all those that can successfully slip by the work place censors... and delete the tasteful nudes and any other ones that might flag some obscure workplace's censorship software.
it seems to me, that some might be afraid that my "artistic nudes" will get in the way of them looking at their soft pornography in the thread.
Note... this is Cliff's website... If he tells me to delete the above art pics or deletes them himself... I will gladly leave them deleted and not post them again... it's his site. though if he does so and leaves all the rest of the pics here... I'll know that the true nature of the site is not about being a family friendly site... but rather it's just about what won't flag the censors. but it's his right to do whatever he wants to with the issue.... and also ban me if he thinks I am just being an a-hole +other names listed above. I've yet to call anyone names here, or express "hate" toward anyone - but rather just given what "I" see as valid arguments on MY opinions... hate to appear to be just another A-hole

I want to hear more about this.....how were the tips?
DJ club-wise... best gig to have... in most clubs, girls tip you out per set on the main stage... back in the 90's, here in Austin... at the non-real high dollar clubs, girls usually 6-7-8 bucks per set = about 60 bucks an hour
high dollar clubs like Sugar's here in Austin... a LOT more... but the waiting list on that DJ job was very very long... I never made it that high on the totum.
and couldn't beat the scenery.... and ALL thread posts were safe for THAT work. however, with my part-time mobile dj business I do (for schools, etc), I generally make about 125.00 - 200.00 per hour - depending on the light show and size sound system I setup.

Yeah, like I said... the loss of the site would be in the name of "art", "freedom of speech", or as in your 12:46 post, hypocrisy or some perceived (or real) double standard.
And why wait to see if Cliff does something? Why not just do the right thing to start with? What if everybody took your example, and posted any kind of tasteless, offensive content, and said "Well, if Cliff doesn't delete it then it's okay." F-THAT.

because... I don't consider the pictures rude, tasteless or offensive...
a lot less so than these pics previously posted in this thread... that to me have no real artistic value... but are just here to ooooggle at and Not what I would consider appropriate for work or children - again... hypocritical... having been to several hundred art galleries and museums all over the US to London, Rome, Paris... 4 college classes of art history and a year of art appreciation ... in my experience my photos would stand a lot better chance at hanging as tasteful art (and have in a few shows here in austin) over the below "tasteful" pics which you seem to have no problem with.
