'bout effn time they made a good remake of the Godzilla movie.

I just hope it isn't all dark and raining, like most of the new "monster" movies.

One thing I liked about the older G movies was the fact that the action happened during "daylight".

Plus, it was hokey... and fun.

Good luck with that. Few remakes are any good and are normally destroyed.

Dang--I didn't realize that youtube vid was an hour long..........I just looked at the first few minutes of it.

I hope it is not rated R. My grandson LOVES! Godzilla movies. I have all the old original ones on VHS tapes and he has seen them all and re watches them from time to time.

They had better stick with at least the basic Godzilla monster, no stinking Mathew Broderick lizard crap. I also like the old ones because of the incredible scale models the Japanese used to make. I also as mentioned like well lit action and hate the dark raining can't see boo movies. It's like choppy flickering fight scenes instead of well choreographed fighting with decent camera work.

Regardless, I am going to see it but would like to take the grandkid.

A "The Goonies" sequel is coming too.

If you look closely in the first video is looks like something came from the sky into the water. Maybe this will be a Godzilla VS movie. Part of it anyways.
