Really cool!
Not sure if anyone knows the answer to this, but what's the purpose of the spinning contraption near the end with the watches on it?

My guess is the watches are self winding and they need movement to wind. The machine does the work.
You can buy them for your personal collection.

I can't stand watches but that was cool. I have a watch on my phone, one on my computer, nightstand, stove, microwave, VCR (that's been flashing 12:00 since the late '80s), etc, etc. If I could bring my phone to work, I wouldn't own a watch. I spent $35 on a watch a couple years ago and still kick myself for spending that much on one. Most of the rest have been under $10.

Here's my favorite...not as precise as the watch, but I made it myself so that's ok...

(not self winding, and not overly practical to carry in your pocket since it's 42" tall, lol...definitely cost more than $10...)

I don't know if this was an advertisement, but I really enjoyed it. I also don't wear a watch, anymore, but this made me want to buy one of theirs for the "special occasion" that I might. I don't have to "dress to impress" anymore, but I've wanted a nice watch and suit/tux for when I plan on showing out.

Those red pivots that small hear shafts go in, those are actually rubies. They are called jewel bearings.

Used to work on stuff like that.
