Any of you guys have a chance to go there back in the day?

The comments at the bottom from people who'd actually been there makes me wish I had known about this place back then.

Rare Video Shows People Riding Infamous New Jersey Looped Water Slide

I'd heard about this ride long ago but thought it was simply an urban legend. I had no idea it actually existed!

Our family went to Traction Park several times back in the day. It was AWESOME!!!

Without a doubt, we would end up with road rash from the Alpine Slide, cuts, bruises, and big smiles!

Rumor has it that they are opening it back up, although they will probably have to make it 'safe'...

Kids today have no clue what a rubber room their lives are in. Everything is so 'safe' so as to be almost sterile.

Agree, totally.

Must have been nice to be already set up for manufacturing and distribution of bike helmets when all of a sudden there was a law that every kid riding had to have one on. how do you suppose THAT happened..................

I bet they had two car lines packed out front-one for the ambulances and the other for the lawyers.

As for the bicycle helmets, those who control our legislators stand to make quite a profit. Kind of like the silt-fence manufacturers.

I hate it, I think its the reason why kinds are growing up to be such push overs.
