I have had several, nothing but issues, and not just the Kimber's either. The Kimber's were very picky about magazines and how they were held. One had an incorrectly machined barrel, the chamber was slightly off causing misfeeds. The other had a bent frame, all kinds of issues with that one. Go figure. Kimber quietly bought that one back. Also had a Springfield that refused to eject spent casings. After 2 range trips and frustrations with sending it back and forth to Springfield several times, I traded it off for a USP .45. I had a cheap Llama that wouldn't feed anything. Turned out to be bad magazines, but by now I have had enough with 1911's, never again. I traded it for a Walther PK380 my wife adores. Very happy with my current handgun. A cheapish Turkish Walther P99 knock-off, Canik 55 TP-9. And it works, every time I need it to. It will feed and fire everything I toss into it. Like it so much I sold my Sig Sauer and looking to get a second one. Only guns I wish I hadn't sold where the CZ-83 and Bersa Thunder 380. Got offers I couldn't refuse. Looking into a Glock 32 or USP compact in .357 Sig next.
