FWIW, I had a chance in-person encounter with Leon Russel earlier this month, which is probably why I thought of this video. I also had an old friend in Las Vegas who was a commercial photographer and used to do a lot of celebrity shoots, and he had accumulated more than a couple of good "Willie stories" over the years.

I would love to meet Leon. Always wish I'd seen one of his concerts back in his prime, but I've got the Concert for Bangladesh DVD, and that's awful good.
Meeting Willie would be alright, but I've heard he has a rather strong body odor.
