In the article, there are pics & vids between each point, and some comments at the bottom. But since I know you'll make me copy & paste...

1. Your car never judges you for the music you listen to.
In fact, your car LOVES the music you listen to. All of it.

2. But you can also enjoy the beautiful silences together.
Seriously, who else can you hang out with where the silence isn’t awkward? Exactly.

3. Your car doesn’t judge you for what you eat.
Nor how you eat it. Thank goodness.

4. And sometimes, without even realizing it, you’ll share your food with your car.
Or maybe your car is just saving it for you for later. Either way, you two are totally in sync.

5. Your heart races at the sound of its “voice.”
OK, engine, whatever. It’s still a beautiful sound.

6. You hate the idea of sharing your car with anyone, ever.
“No! You can’t borrow my car tomorrow night! We have plans.”

7. On the other hand, you always love introducing it to friends and family.
Because it’s a part of you, and you want everyone to know!

8. It’s been there for all of life’s victories and celebrations.
Admit it, we’ve all danced in our cars at some point or another.

9. It’s also seen you at your lowest and most embarrassing moments. And you’re OK with that.
Because in the end, you know you share everything with your car.

10. Nothing makes a bad day better like going on a long drive together.
It doesn’t matter where you go. What matters is that you’re together.

11. Sometimes, when you’re together, it’s as if time stops while the rest of the world rushes by.
It’s difficult to explain, but there’s something magical about it.

12. You know that no matter what happens, your car will always be there for you.
You’re soulmates, and not a thing in the world can change that.

The GIF for #5 is meaningful to me as that's my first car, a '67 Chev. It's "voice" was a 396 screaming through headers and a dual exhaust. And yes, it made my heart race.

Yes, I encouraged that 396 to scream a little too much. Almost lost my license the first month I owned the car. I was just 17...

Mike, trying to keep this a family forum.

I am fairly sure that at least one or two of us got here because of screaming SOs, Patrick.

None of my kids read any of this. If they did, they would have run away, hands over hears, going LALALALALALA along time ago.

My del Sol VTEC DOHC with its 8,200 redline although I've only revved it that high a couple of times, sounds like a hot small block going through the gears.

One of my best friends when I was a teen had a 67 Impala, but it had "just" a 327. I've ridden in Jeeps with the 327 that were faster (but lighter).
But my older brother had a 68 Chevelle SS with the 396, and O... M... G... that car was so much fun. I wish I could afford one now, plus the gas on top of that.

My second car was a mint condition '67 Chevelle SS 396 with 4-spd and tricked up motor with a lumpy cam etc. That was easily my fastest car. Geez that car would be worth a lot of money today!

I guess I was spoiled by those cars way back then, in regards to straight line acceleration anyway. I have never been in a Fiero (with a SBC, 3800sc, etc) that pins me to the back of the seat like that Chevelle did. Oh, those were good times.

Oh, to the back of the seat. I thought that said in the back . . . uh, never mind.

Substitute "truck" for car, and you may be close....dont get me wrong, Canadian's love our small nimble sports cars. But a truck and a man ?, you will separate THAT just as soon as it gets bombed out of existence.
