If you could visit anywhere in the world, where would you go? Would you visit the sites of the 7 wonders of the ancient world? (I believe the Great Pyramid at Giza is the only surviving location). Maybe the 7 wonders of the modern world? (the Great Pyramid made that list too) Perhaps tour wineries in the French countryside? -we call it a wine tour - they call it driving drunk through their back yard Rent a Ferrari and drive through the Italian and Swiss mountains? (Stelvio pass, anyone?)
Or maybe just sit on a beach and wiggle your toes in the sand?
I'd want to visit the one continent I haven't been to - Antarctica.
Other than that, I want to visit Colombia again, where I graduated from high school in 1991. And I'd love to visit China (I've only been to Hong Kong a couple of times, once when it was still British). Oh, and New Zealand! And South Africa and Kenia, for the national parks!

I went to China for about a month, which was my dream...
My next one is Scotland. I'd see the two castles that are tied to my family, then I'd spend the rest of my time at the pubs getting drunk and hanging out with people. Relaxation at its finest!
I've been to Japan, been to Vietnam, been to China (3x), been to Mexico. No place like home. With all the anti American sentiment in the middle east (Egypt), no way would I go.
If I could go every place I wanted to, it would be lots of places, including all the above. But when I get the chance, and can only pick one place, it will be Ireland.
I've been to El Salvador, Guatemala, and the Mayan Riviera in Mexico.
You know, I've been to a lot of places, and I've enjoyed every single one of them... but honestly, I love my backyard in Florida. The cool breeze, the tropical plants, the fruit trees... it may not be RIGHT on the beach, but it's still pretty awesome.

I'm with ya.
But what if you could have your backyard as an actual tropical paradise with no people (trying to keep it relevant to your backyard)? We're talking anywhere in the world!
Though it's nice being home. Knowing "this is mine" is definitely worthwhile.

It pretty much is. It's a half-acre of tropical plants in South Florida (zone 10b). It even has a peacock that lives back there. The only thing I don't have, is a direct line view of the beach.
