"Why do Black people call each other Monica"?

That took me about three seconds to figure out. . I feel that was too long a time span.

Remember, those are the people driving the car next to you, and they are allowed to vote.
I'm pretty sure some of them post here on a regular basis.
Explains a lot, doesn't it?

Hard to say. I didn't see neoCON or DOGMA in any of them, and they weren't in all caps.

I've been spending too much time on this forum for my entertainment. It looks like I need to take up buzzfeed.com.

Well you're in Canada, "Are there birds up there?" WTF Just

Well are there? Or how about this one,

Do Canadian Geese have to stop at the boarder and show their passports when they cross the boarder?

I am just hoping they were all made up as a joke or asked by children

No, Steve....when I lived in Cali in the 80's. it took me all of 15 minutes to convince the locals we lived in igloos, used dogsleds in the winter and the 401 (16-20 some areas) lane major highway was a dirt track.

GAWD, I had fun jerking the chain of those rednecks.

(click on one of the camera icons to see what the 401 really is. http://www.mto.gov.on.ca/en...amera/camhome1.shtml )

MANNING, Ore. – A 19-year-old man caused a three-car crash when he fainted while holding his breath as he drove through a tunnel northwest of Portland, Oregon State Police said. . . .

Calhon was cited for reckless driving, three counts of reckless endangerment and fourth-degree assault in Washington County Circuit Court. It was not clear if he had a lawyer.

State Police Lt. Gregg Hastings said Monday he's not sure why Calhon was holding his breath, but some people hold their breaths in tunnels as part of a game or superstition.

Of course, there's another rather obvious explanation, but I don't want to go there.

Oh come on, go there, I have got to hear what you think it was.
Me I think he had a seizure or mini stroke.

I was suggesting that there was a "flatulence event" that prompted him to try holding his breath. If he had power windows (what are the odds that he did not?), maybe they weren't operable. Not sure whether the report mentions a passenger.

Oh OK I was hoping it was something a little more, well I don't know technical I guess. now I am not a doctor, but I did stay at a Holiday Inn a few years back, but I always thought that if you held your breath the body made you wake up and smell the coffee so to speak to start breathing on your own to prevent you from passing out? Or is it that you pass out to make you start breathing again? I forget.

I seriously doubt it was that, more that the idiot was holding his breath for the tunnel like the article suggests. I know way too many people that still do it.

Wow, I never knew people did that. How idiotic! I've also heard that there are people who say something they want to happen or not happen, addressing an imaginary entity and believe that it may come true

Oh yeah, not just tunnels either. Bridges are even more common for holding the breath. As kids we held our breath and raised our feet while going over bridges. I always just thought it was a game to test your own limits... then I heard about the superstition later in life. People do all sorts of weird stuff.

NOPE !!!!

My mom and dad STILL laugh at me about that......when I was abut 3 or 4 I did something and got a wack across the butt with an empty cardboard milk carton----and got so pissed off I held my breath (apperantly) until I passed out at turned blue and actually quit breathing. Seems I came around as dad was rushing me to emerg.

Yeh, I was BORN with the attitude.
