This week we’ve enjoyed a number of spectacular International Space Station (ISS) passes. It’s great to watch the bright dot moving from horizon to horizon knowing there are three Russians, twp Americans and a German all doing science and generally getting along better than we seem to here on Earth.
ISS crews usually are treated to a sunrise or sunset about every 45 minutes. However this crew hasn’t seen a sunset since June 1.
The next ISS sunset isn't until June 21st. That's one heck of a barbecue roll.
I thought you were shielded against that sort of thing. Are you viulernable to EMP? How about misspellings of words such as vulnerable? Do you like peas?

The IR waves.. heats up my outer shell and causes issues.
Magnetic radiation, isn't an issue.
EDIT: I have no idea if i like peas or not. i dont have a mouth.

Yeah, I'm not really sure why it went there, but hey, I'll play along.
I'd like to apologize for my remarks. It was prompted by this reply:

Which I initially read as you being so much more important for living with the lights on for 3 months. Sometimes on here I try to share things I find interesting or think others would be interested in. It's not to make a big statement, but just sharing an interesting story. And there always seems to be someone who has to make it about them. I know I've done it myself, so I don't have any right to complain when others do it too.
I'm tired of the BS, and I guess I lashed out because of that. For that I apologize.

Geeze, don't read so much into my comments. It's all good. I didn't even realize you were actually trying to slam me. I'm fairly thick skinned and don't get butthurt very easy, or generally take things too personally, including mother jokes. I was just playing along, but I apologize if I misunderstood and said anything that offended you. Just for the record, I'm pretty proud of my submarine service and qualification, it was a significant accomplishment in my life (and hey, I ain't got many) and I may sometimes joke about it, but I don't really think it makes me any more "important" than anyone else. I hope we're cool.
