"Someone has replaced two American flags on the Brooklyn Bridge with mysterious white flags."
http://news.msn.com/us/myst...atop-brooklyn-bridge

"The bridge is one of the most heavily secured landmarks in the city, constantly monitored by surveillance cameras."

---
Really? Imagine those less secure than this...

Imagine if they didn't put flags, but something a bit more destructive...and they have nothing on their recordings?

There are a million ways to majorly eff things up in NYC, glad almost no one has actually tried....

I know it's not right, but I've been thinking lately about how surprising it is that nobody has used a drone to kill a bunch of people yet.

It would theoretically be simple to attach a gun of some sort to a drone, as well as a camera and just fly around shooting people. They could do it in high rise apartments, parks, you name it, and the person doing the shooting could be a good distance away.

Of course the police could triangulate him, but a wise man could set up a Wfi enabled remote control, or run the whole thing off a cell signal. I have no idea what drones use now.

They could do it and totally get away with it. Some are even "set it and forget it" and GPS programmable and all that...
Triangulate? Maybe if it's a tv show. One guy takes it out of his backpack or trunk. And leaves...and another guy pilots it to where they want it....

Even just having a few cars "break down" on a few certain spots on bridges and highways would cause major mayhem...

I too have thought about the consequences of a preplanned "breakdown" of several hundred vehicles at key locations of our transportation infrastructures. Things could get messy on the cheap real quick.

Hey, hey, on the day of the attack, a news van rushed threw town and stopped for a guy that had recorded on a camcorder from his balcony the plane following the river and sweeping off towards the pentagon. They were very low so, I could understand the defense systems failing.

Too bad there wasn't a sequester going on. There's extra security posted when they supposedly aren't getting paid.
