Can you recommend, from personal experience, a car transport individual or company that can bring a car from San Bruno, Ca. to Atlanta, Ga.? I put this in OT because it isn't a Fiero. I know I can find tons of transport companies on the web. Many are doubtless very reputable, but there are also those who might damage a vehicle, remove parts from a vehicle, and even hold the vehicle for additional monies once they arrive. For that reason, I ask for your personal experience and recommendation.
Thanks in advance for any help. The car needs to move very soon.
Is that based on personal experience with them? What did they ship for you and a ballpark price? Internet quotes right now are ranging from $950 to $1200 but no personal references for those carriers.
Is it drivable Charlie? sorry I can't recommend anyone but had another option for you that might be a lot cheaper. When I was a kid I used to do drivaways they called them, forget the company name as those were the fuzzy years for me and I only did it a few times to Florida and back to MA to get a free vacation out of it. I had to be bonded by their insurance company in case I had an accident or did any damage to the car.
Just a heads up to another way of getting the car to you from there.

You know it's bad form to just show that one little picture right?

NO SH!T !
You could always take the train Charlie, like we are always telling Cliff. But I would also want recommendations from people who have used that as well as if they are insured for damage from their own workers wrecking you car or during transport.
Come on now some more pictures or at least more info on just what that is!

Tom, it's not mine. The last photo is of one of our club members and his 75 Colt that he used to race. He is going to reproduce his original race car. You and he had a little run-in so to speak. Right rear of his red car into the left side of your 88.
Brad, I'll pass your information on to him. Thanks.
PS: Tom, RFTH is near.

Although the truck has changed some, still using that trailer. Actually, the yellow Pantero is a fiberglass body Pantera on a Fiero Chassis that I brought back from CA to KY. That was quite a trip. At almost every stop people would want to crawl up on the trailer and take pics. Obviously, I wouldn't let that happen but, it is/was a very good body kit.

Ron, thank you for the offer. I just received an email saying he was going with Reliable. You may still be in our future, though. Georgia Fieros has an 88GT that we're restoring and will be giving to a Wounded Warrior. We're trying to find someone who will donate a paint job on the car and we're having no luck locally. We might have to transport it elsewhere if someone steps up to help us. Check your PM's. I have a question for you.
Fats and blackrams, It seems that he hasn't actually made a contract with Reliable and he said he's open to offers. I've given him each of your contact information.
In reference to the CA to GA transport, I spoke without thinking (again). Honestly, I simply don't have the time to travel that far and to be quite honest, I can't financially compete with the big companies like Reliable. Fats should have a great time hauling that Colt back to GA. I'm trying to stay regional at least until I retire from my other job.

Brad, he tried to email you at the email in your profile, but he said it bounced back.
I doubt an individual will be able to beat the rate charged by some of the commercial carriers, but he was concerned that they'd hold the car hostage for more money once it arrived. Much like the household movers do.

Sorry about that. PM sent. I haven't renewed that site name since Godaddy is holding it hostage. I thought I had it changed everywhere, but forgot a few places it seems.

Ahhh! That didn't seem like a car I'd picture you in.
I made my motel reservation yesterday. I missed RFTH last year and the rest of the year just didn't seem right without that big smile on my face.
