Hmmm, well now, I've got a problem with that. I've been making payments on that structure for quite a few years and really don't appreciate the threat.
Now, if they would just help evict the current residents, I might see that differently.
------------------ Ron Count Down to A Better America: http://countingdownto.com/countdown/196044 Isn't it strange that after a bombing, everyone blames the bomber, his upbringing, his environment, his culture, his mental state but … after a shooting, the problem is the gun?
My Uncle Frank was a staunch Conservative and voted straight Republican until the day he died in Chicago. Since then he has voted Democrat. Shrug
Why are they holding hands? Not going to the white guy festival in Ohio, I guess. Doesn't Korea have a million year old culture? They must; they make pottery or ceramics, and all ancient cultures do that. But they eat everything with one pair of chopsticks, and everyone knows culture requires a different utensil for every dish.
What does North Korea want? South Korea? The United States?
What is their desire for their country?
I assume you mean the N. Korean ruling clique, not the N. Korean people. I think they want to continue to rule the country as a personal fief and continue to hold the rest of the world for ransom when they want something bigger than they can afford by just squeezing their own people.

Agree, and the guy we have running things now will probably write them a check and apologize to them for it. or at least take his vig.

What is their desire for their country? Can they compete in the Global Market place with natural resources or workforce?
Or is their only chance for continuation conquest?
None of the above! They want to be a credible-enough threat every so often that we offer them money and aid to knock it off, then they want us to leave them alone until that money is spent, then they rev up the arms race again.
Id have no problem with that as long as the president and vice president are there. Wash DC would be a small price to pay for the damage they will cause with 3 more years.
It would be a shame about the Smithsonian and the National Archives........
I agree. Probably a stupid question, and not related to North Korea really, but why do we have things that are important in an area that is at the highest risk of attack? It would make more sense to me to have these things in Kansas, Nebraska, or someplace similar where they can be protected by the land they came from?
