I dunno, but there's sometimes a very special bond which exists among different species. Not sure that guy actually considers himself the "owner". Maybe "caretaker" or "friend".

Cool video! Two safety concerns. One for the bird flying in close proximity to traffic. One for the owner who is having a lot of distraction while driving.

Would've been great to have been shot in 3D.

He must've had that parrot since it was an egg. Looks like a fine example of imprinting.

That bird is going to be upset when its "parent" eventually plows into a stone abutment.

My parrot is free to fly, if he likes. He chooses to sit on his cage during the day. At night when its time to go to bed, he goes in the cage on his own and waits to be covered.

When he was younger he liked to sit on my shoulder. But over the years ( hes pushing 30 now ) he tended to stay closer to his cage.
