Father-in-law asked me tonight if I would like to try some jalapeno wine that was given to him by another pilot at the local airport. I guess this guy does a bunch of different wines (lemon, clover, celery and jalapeno were the ones my F-I-L told me about. He's had the lemon and the jalapeno.) Not sure i'd drink it again but it was an interesting experience.

Sounds "interesting". Did it burn your throat a bit?

It's (almost) always worth it to try new things. Life<----- Man, enjoy it while yer still breathin'.

I'll try anything once. I don't suspect the alcohol content was very high but it was an interesting drink. It did burn a little going down but not nearly as hot as a fresh jalapeno. Sort of hits your stomach like a shot of whiskey or vodka. Sorta warm.

Not sure what I was expecting but it smelled like someone opened a bottle of jalapenos but with something extra. It's hard to describe. Sniffed it half a second before my father in law suggested not smelling it. I'm not sure what you are supposed to eat with it if anything at all. I don't think I would suggest drinking it on an empty stomach, it sits kind of heavy on the stomach. All that being said I found myself continually picking it up to take another sip. The little I had pictured here would be about the limit of what I would drink at a time.

Final verdict. I'm not sure I would drink it again but if you ever have a chance to try it I suggest drinking a little just for the experience.
PS Do not burp after drinking. (×_×)

I have drank jalapeno beer before and it was good, and yes will get you just as drunk & as quick as any other.
