Some parts of the metro Phoenix area have over 5" so far. Most of the valley got 3" to 4". Officially, Phoenix Sky Harbor broke the record for the most rainfall ever in a single calendar day, and that was just after sunup.
The boss sent me a text message saying the have no phones and no power, so I might as well stay home.
Thankfully, I have not heard of anyone hurt. I think it is mostly over for this side of town, but the southeast area is still getting a good soaking.

Wettest day on record, for Valley of the Sun

Video shows some severe flooding... I know it's the desert, but some sort of drainage along the interstate might have helped here.

(sarcasm) Will Phoenix be sharing some of that water with the drought-stricken areas? That would only be fair. The gap between the water haves and the water have-nots in this country continues to widen and something should be done to correct it. (sarcasm) Seriously though, hope everyone comes out that bad weather okay.
