The bandwidth kinda sucks, though. So large data transfers will take a long time. Grab a beer, and take a seat.

And there's no guarantee any of it is actually viable data!

I have a large amount of viable data I can transfer through an appropriate plugin that can create a new storage device.... Takes a little while though.

But what you have is old technology though. It may not be compatible with the newer ports. Floppy disks just don't work.

9 months, but the new storage device can also transfer data back to you--takes awhile for you to understand which code they are using tho--and it never comes with instructions or a "files are ready to be uploaded" notice.

I imagine if enough beer and/or 'medicinal herbs' were involved, the packets loss would get out of hand.

But never a Compete System Failure.
Although, Boondawg 1.0 is getting a little long in the tooth...possibly time for an upgrade.

Transfering data is easy if both sender and receiver use the same codex.
If you're using some proprietary codex that only you are privy too, you might send out a lot of data, but all the receiver gets is noise.
