A deleted image from photobucket. I never seen the pic, but people were saying she looks like Helen Hunt. But I was curious since it got deleted pretty quick. I doubt that was it unless I'm missing something.
I was going to ask what happened to him but with the way some people on here get so bent out of shape at some of the things I say I figure I would do him more harm than good. Hey I have been close to being band more than once myself from some of the "Holier-than-thou" crowd. religion and political thread shouldn't even have the ratings able. For some reason if you just disagree with someone religious beliefs or political agenda you automatically get negd.

On a side note, if I give anyone a neg I will PM them at least telling them I did so and why, if I don't tell them in the thread. Way too many people take things personally on here, and it's difficult to not rate someone negatively sometimes.

Well, I certainly have no agenda with whom you like or dislike. I take interest in your opinion only because you felt it important enough to proclaim to all that you felt the man was a Douche and basically good riddance to bad rubbish. Contrary to your proclamation that you don't give a crap it appears at least on it's face that you do in fact give a crap.
But regardless if you don't like him what has he done to warrant such vitriol and disdain? I wouldn't know if you have good reason but it doesn't seem there is and if no good reason existed why side on the elimination of diversity?
But then you do have a life so maybe it doesn't matter.

That means so much to me from the manager of a Lowes ! Seems power does corrupt some peoples minds. We are all different here and have different ideas of what is right and wrong and some people can't accept the fact that not everyone will agree with us !
He may have his little quirks and idiosyncrasies but that doesn't make him any less of a person or disserving of your previous post. Some here might call you the very same things you just called him, now mightn't they. He is also much younger than most here, myself included, hell all of my kids are older than him. Now you on the other hand sound even younger than he is and more irate, try treating others the way you would want them to treat you and maybe you would get a little less red in your ratings bar and a little more respect from many of the other members.

I still only have the same three active negs. I've had a few more occasionally but switch them off after a period of time. But it takes some pretty ****ing serious **** for me to give a neg. An opinion I don't agree with won't do it. Totally unnecessary personal insults will if it's unrelenting or a bias that would make me sweep my kids off the street to avoid them being in contact with the person. I'm sure others use it the same way.
I have only given one neg in my time here. And to me it was a good reason. I've thought about switching him back to neutral because in the posts I've run across since he's been pretty good and helpful. To me the ratings system works, but as what happened to Dan there are out-lyers. And when Cliff seen the situation it was corrected. I can see this happening to me as well as I can be pretty straight forward and opinionated. I generally try to fly under the radar but stuff happens. I hang in tech alot to help out there hand out advice when I can, but OT can be pretty interesting. There is where people like me can get into trouble. Members need to be careful on who they hand negs to and think about it before doing so.
Interesting read about DanDamage's ban and resurrection from a human emotion standpoint or a look into people's motivations for disliking someone. Since I am mostly a tech geek, I get a lot of interesting info from the Technical side of Fieros and conversions but I sometimes check here to see who is the current bad guy or what solar event will destroy the Earth by noon.
I have given 15 people negatives and they are FasFieros, Uhlanstan and nickbrown. FastFieros attacked people needlessly and stole from many people so I think he deserved to be banned. Uhlanstan just went overboard in his ad hominem attack against Don (maryjane) without providing a reason. Frankly, I don't remember nickbrown but my comment was, " Sick, sick, sick. This person needs to be on meds ..."
The remaining people I gave positives to are: Neptune, katore, Darth Fiero, Mike Gonzalez, Bloozberry, ktthekarguy, MidEngineManic, Phonedawgs, Intel, hrocker, Purple86GT and Boondawg (whoever that is ). Some of my positives were in response to the bright red ratings bar and I rated them because I think they contribute something to the forum.
I made my feelings known about the rating system awhile back but negatives and my subsequent banning would mean nothing to me because until Cliff makes this a members-only forum, I will still have access to Technical information which is my primary reason for reading the forum. As I said in the Crazy Canuck's(MidEngineManiac) positive "+" rating, "I like someone who speaks his mind without personal attacks and is someone I would like to meet." I'd like to meet several members here with or without positive ratings and there are others I'd just as soon avoid.
