I have the plates made from a drawling I made but the design is not mine. I don't have a laser cutter. The "replacement parts" come from a company that has been around a while under a few different names. They do small runs of guns because they have the right ffl but they seem to like selling just parts. They used to make a 45lc/410 5 shot pepper box but discontinued it. The next time I talk to them in going to see if they have any laying around I could get my hands on.

Not being a b-hole but what are the reasons you don't like Ares...

Also just to remind everyone how bright the ATF is about saying things are Illegal...do you guys remember this..

I love the ATFs "Special Agent" saying "with minimal work they could be converted into a machine gun".

Also the ATF insist they done the testing and Yes they could be turned into "Military Grade Weapons". guess we have been paying Colt way to much when you can just buy a cheap toy from Asia huh..
When the plantifs asked for the documentation of the testing they were told they would have to file a Freedom of information request to get it...

You cant make this crap up..

So when they say the lowers are made a way they think they are....you better question there motives and accuracy.

I have bought several of these polymer lowers and built a few receivers and have some that are not completed, and you can actually see the flashing marks around the fire control pocket..showing how it was made first and then the actual material for the receiver was casted second not first..

What Morons.

ATF Means Alcohol, Toys, FireArms

1:17 That moment when he tried to put the magazine in backwards was priceless

While some are, i dont think all are. They know exactly what they are saying is wrong, as its all part of the slow manipulation of the public. Tell a lie enough times and it becomes the truth. Once the public believes silliness like this as reality, easier to get their support for more bans. ( eventually a total ban )

They are in this for the long haul, its an endless vigil against intentional mis-information. Always better to just say they are wrong than stupid, then present the facts.

"Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms" should be the name of a convenience store.

We do pay colt to much and every other AR manufacture because of the demand. However it would cost you more to build a AR off a airsoft lower than to just buy a complete AR. There are airsoft guns out there that have mill spec lowers and can fit the AR FCG.

I agree totally as the last air-soft 'm4' that i bought my son cost almost 2x the price of a cheap ( 100% ) lower, and it was no where near usable for something like this. The only advantage of a air-soft 'host' is that there is no tracking. If you are that hard up to stay under the radar, and dont have basic skills with a drill press for a 80% lower, just buy one on the grey/black market

That's one of the reasons I don't own a AR, they are not cheap enough. I've never trained with them, I don't like the way they look over other guns and the "modular" thing is a joke to me when it's the cheap parts you keep and expensive parts you swap to change calibers.
I'm not saying they aren't good guns but they aren't for me unless the price dropped dramatically.

I am not a fan of them due to their general over-complexity and dislike for being dirty. In the real world you dont have time to religiously clean your weapon, or carry a tool bag just to clean it if you do get a chance. ( same reason i like glocks, dead simple, fewer components to break, easy to clean and rugged )

Sure, AR's are much better than they used to be ( like before they chromed the barrel.. wtf were they thinking??? ), but give me an AK any day. If you are dry, you can use it as a club and it will still fire after you steal your victim's ammo..

( speaking of AK's, damn they are getting expensive quick )

What isn't? Even the cheapest guns have spiked in price, if we can get a republican in office again it might help.
