Considered the rarest film ever seen,
The Day the Clown Cried . Filmed, directed and stared Jerry Lewis back in 1972.
Supposedly the film was so bad that Jerry Lewis shelved it away to never seen the light of day.
The Library of Congress has the film, but won't release it till 2024.
But someone pieced together about 30-minutes of it through various sources.

And I thought I had seen every Jerry Lewis movie ever made, not that I hadn't heard about this ones existence but never knew it was available, well seems only in person anyway, in
2024 , WTF !

I never could stand Jerry Lewis so I think they should have shelved Jerry Lewis along with that film and put us out of our misery for the years to come.

What made you say that? all the great comedians were disturbed, look at Robin Williams, George Carlin, the guy with the mallet?
but you got to admit it does make fun of hanging yourself, bong, bong, bong .

But that doesn't change the fact that he is a comedic genus.
He created some pretty amazing scenes in his career.
He IS comedy.

He also invented the instant replay so that they could see what they got on camera as they shot it. He was a genius.

I haven't seen any of his stuff. Might make me odd. I know he did a telethon for kids. What movie should I see to get a good example, if I wanted to?
