Is there a way to turn the spider off? Apparently, the latest version of Mozilla Firefox (or Flash, not sure which) doesn't play nicey-nice with it. I get a blank screen with a spider on it, then have to refresh the page once or twice to get the web page to display again.
I hate that freakin' spider. It always first appears one morning RIGHT as I wake up and check the forum, in the dark, while I'm still basically asleep. Gets me the first time every year.
While not a little black spider I decorated the house for Halloween this year. Not the greatest pics as the upload loses some of the quality and makes them a little darker than the originals but...
My cat fights the spider all the time. He hasnt figured out what it is...prob thinks its on the other side of screen since I once caught him snooping around the back of the monitor. Works as good as a laser dot. Now he doesnt even stand up...he paws at it while lying down.
Works on Torch which is a Chrome based browser with all the tracking Google crap stripped out of it. They added a video downloader into it and a torrent program. There is a couple other things they added to like Torch Music and Torch Games. It's actually a pretty nice browser if you add Ghostery and ABP to it.
Like you though, I used IE forever. But, when Microsoft decided to drop Vista support from it's "new" version I had find something else. Chrome supported Vista still but it would always add app's back in or turn on ones that I deleted or turned off. Then I would get pop-ups from that giant hot and fiery place because of it and I'd have to reset the browser and start it all over to go through the same process again. So I started looking for a different one and came across Torch. Figured I'd give it a try since it supposedly took out a lot of the behind the scenes Google stuff and after upgrading to Windows 7 and then to Windows 10, I'm still using it.
