Here is a song that is completely outside my usual tastes, but I like it. It makes me feel good. The original video is amusing and is partially shot in an auto junkyard, which appeals to the old gearhead in me. At 1:23 there are a couple of old guys sitting on a pan and a shovel.
I came across this video this morning. It is a live version and includes what appears to be a vintage Gibson archtop. The guitar may well be older than me. edit: I looked it up. The Guitar is a Gibson L-50. I couldn't find the specific year, but they were made from the '30s through the '60s.
Here is a very pretty girl singing a song that was the #1 hit the week I was born:

Interesting visuals, and the name reminded me of a band from the '70s. If you ave never heard of "Wishbone Ash", you just might like them. They have some good guitar work.

When I heard that song on the radio a few years ago, I really liked it and wondered who the female vocalist was. I was rather surprised when I looked up the song on YouTube!
I like the Tedeschi/Trucks video. Derek Trucks is one of my favorite guitar players.
Here are Derek Trucks, Sonny Landreth and Buddy Cage. It starts out mellow, but then they really start cooking about half way through. Buddy Cage passed at the beginning of this year.

I'm glad you posted this, cause I've asked a couple of people who this is and nobody knew. Never imagined that's who would be round performing it.
