A "pop vocals" track (I guess) that was a hit for Dionne Warwick way back in 1964. But I'd not encountered a version like this before. I just stumbled upon it.
I noticed that the second of the three songs in that video is Sweet Child of Mine. I found another great cover of this Guns N' Roses song. This version kicks ass! I am not kidding!
Maiya Sykes, extraordinary vocalist creates a masterpiece like no other.
' Gonzalo Diaz, 6 years ago. Dry leaves fly in the cold wind of November, the air is humid and the people run to their houses... funny thing when you have a house but not a home... not at least since she left... last cigarette boy, make it worth... the road to home is long and maybe you're not gonna make it; at least I'll try it... walk old man... just walk... '
' Wael Hattar, 6 years ago. This is by far the biggest song transformation, a lot of them have epic differences but this is a whole other song completely. I know the original well and still can't find it in here. brilliant work. '

The Hawks were: Jimmy Ray Paulman (lead guitar) Will 'Pop' Jones (piano) Sam Taylor (tenor sax) Levon Helm (drums)
2/26/1965 Wow, I can say without a doubt that the sounds of that sax is at the very heart of American music of the 20th century. This rendition of ' Summertime ' is reminiscent of the early Bond soundtracks. Sweet.
Machine Head Ritchie Blackmore - Guitar Jon Lord - Keyboards, Organ Ian Paice - Drums Ian Gillan - Vocals Roger Glover - Bass Guitar
Recommend replay, it still works ! lol
So there is something to be said for the proposal for a big block Fiero. ...Somewhere off in the misty past obscured by hazy clouds, are the plans for such a ' Highway Star '.
' I've been drivin' all night, my hands wet on the wheel There's a voice in my head that drives my heel It's my baby callin', sayin', "I need you here" And it's a half past four and I'm shiftin' gear ... '
Whose voice is this? That dares to wake us angels arresting our slumber suddenly The distant bells can be heard as if an invisible hand struck them Such melody soared through the heavens where we nest We awoke and came down to listen and stayed for a while our hearts were touched and our eyes glistened The Creator called us back but we shan't forget what we heard Even here where joy is eternal
