America's freshly minted medical authority, Dr Anthony Fauci, gently (IMO) critiques his "boss" on COVID-19. Brad Pitt "does" Anthony Fauci on Saturday Night Live.

It's the first 90 seconds of this YouTube video segment.
https://youtu.be/zGZNdc3QnJY

I know what you're (probably) thinking, considering how this forum "leans."

Melania's "I really don't care. Do U?" statement jacket.

But putting any and all "leanings" aside for a moment, I thought that Brad Pitt did a respectable impersonation of America's newly prominent "medicine man." Capturing the way that the celebrated doctor speaks. A credible 90 seconds of Faux Fauci On Tap.

Tokyo

Shutdown of public access to an aquarium has a species of small-sized eels losing their long-acquired comfort level with humans approaching the glass walls of their tank.

The eels were accustomed to looking back through the glass at the crowds of humans.

Since the shutdown, the eels have lost their comfort level with the proximity of humans and are exhibiting a fear reaction when a staff member approaches the tank to check up on the eels. Now the eels react by burying into the sand or sediment at the bottom of the tank, which defeats what the staff are there for: checking up on the eels and performing tank maintenance or "tank-keeping" functions as needed.

The aquarium has surrounded the tank with large video monitors and is asking the public to connect using the FaceTime app from their homes, so that the eels will be seeing human faces again throughout the day.

The staff hopes that this will cause the eels to return to their customary "I'm OK with it" psyche about humans and stop burrowing to hide when a staff member approaches the tank to make sure that nothing is amiss.

OK, you can start laughing now.

She's Merry Anders... a 50s-early 60s model and actress and was in at least one Elvis movie.

Not the same girl as above..

Subject: Dementia Quiz

THIS MAY BE A "Little" DIFFICULT FOR ALL WHO ARE OVER 60. THOSE YOUNGER THAN THIS WILL HAVE NO HOPE AT ALL.

DEMENTIA QUIZ

FIRST QUESTION:
YOU ARE A PARTICIPANT IN A RACE. YOU OVERTAKE
THE SECOND PERSON. WHAT POSITION ARE YOU IN?
~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~
ANSWER : IF YOU ANSWERED THAT YOU ARE FIRST,
THEN YOU ARE ABSOLUTELY WRONG! IF YOU OVERTAKE THE SECOND PERSON AND YOU TAKE HIS PLACE, YOU ARE IN SECOND PLACE!
TRY TO DO BETTER NEXT TIME.
NOW ANSWER THE SECOND QUESTION, BUT DON'T TAKE AS MUCH TIME AS YOU TOOK FOR THE FIRST QUESTION, OK?
SECOND QUESTION:
IF YOU OVERTAKE THE LAST PERSON, THEN YOU ARE....?
(SCROLL DOWN)
~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~
ANSWER: IF YOU ANSWERED THAT YOU ARE SECOND TO LAST, THEN YOU ARE.....
WRONG AGAIN. TELL ME SUNSHINE, HOW CAN YOU OVERTAKE THE LAST PERSON??

YOU'RE NOT VERY GOOD AT THIS, ARE YOU?

THIRD QUESTION:
VERY TRICKY ARITHMETIC! NOTE: THIS MUST BE DONE IN YOUR HEAD ONLY.
DO NOT USE PAPER AND PENCIL OR A CALCULATOR.
TRY IT.

TAKE 1000 AND ADD 40 TO IT. NOW ADD ANOTHER 1000 NOW ADD 30.
ADD ANOTHER 1000. NOW ADD 20 .. NOW ADD ANOTHER 1000.
NOW ADD 10. WHAT IS THE TOTAL?

SCROLL DOWN FOR THE CORRECT ANSWER.....
~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~
DID YOU GET 5000?
THE CORRECT ANSWER IS ACTUALLY 4100...
IF YOU DON'T BELIEVE IT, CHECK IT WITH A CALCULATOR!
TODAY IS DEFINITELY NOT YOUR DAY, IS IT?
MAYBE YOU'LL GET THE LAST QUESTION RIGHT.... MAYBE...
FOURTH QUESTION:
MARY'S FATHER HAS FIVE DAUGHTERS:
1. NANA, 2. NENE, 3. NINI, 4.. NONO, AND
2 WHAT IS THE NAME OF THE FIFTH DAUGHTER?
~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~
Answer: DID YOU ANSWER NUNU? NO! OF COURSE IT ISN'T .
HER NAME IS MARY! READ THE QUESTION AGAIN!
OKAY, NOW THE BONUS ROUND, I.E., A FINAL CHANCE TO REDEEM YOURSELF:

A MUTE PERSON GOES INTO A SHOP AND WANTS TO BUY A TOOTHBRUSH.
BY IMITATING THE ACTION OF BRUSHING HIS TEETH HE
SUCCESSFULLY EXPRESSES HIMSELF TO THE SHOPKEEPER AND THE PURCHASE IS DONE.
NEXT, A BLIND MAN COMES INTO THE SHOP WHO WANTS TO BUY A PAIR OF SUNGLASSES; HOW DOES HE INDICATE WHAT HE WANTS?
~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~
Answer: IT'S REALLY VERY SIMPLE
HE OPENS HIS MOUTH AND ASKS FOR IT...
DOES YOUR EMPLOYER ACTUALLY PAY YOU TO THINK??
IF SO DO NOT LET THEM SEE YOUR ANSWERS FOR THIS TEST!
All in fun folks. Don't let this Pandemic get to ya!
Happens in races very frequently "sunshine"..
It's called being a lap (or 2 or 3) up.
Fake!
Damn... if real, those boobs could take a guy's eye out! I wanted to get to the bottom of this deception, so I first found a larger version of that same image...
...and then I tracked down the original unmanipulated image...
Glad to be of service.
With everything being closed, Has helped change the way we live. We are saving about 65.00 a week because we have to make our lunches for work instead of the lazy, go to a sub shop or burger place.
We, are working so much, because of this new normal . We are a few of the lucky ones that jobs didn't vaporize or business have to close. O/T is great and all, but it is getting old. The eat ,sleep, work,shower, eat, sleep etc. isn't the life I'd want long term. But for now, I'll call it blessed, as so many are up __________ creek, as they say.
I'll never be rich doing what I do, but slow and steady wins the race.
