Interesting, first you falsely accuse me of trying to control PFF, now I can't read and comment on any posts or threads? Following you around? Sure, dream on, you are that important to me that I am your PFF stalker?
PMs, yep I send them to members, and I express opinions through them too,...I know surprise that I would rather PM then continue negativity in threads, now if only others would do it too. We would see a lot less negativity in the forum threads.
BUT, as I recall, you only failed to reply to one PM, after I pointed out your hypocrisy, you did not reply anymore, that is cool. At least be honest about it and not try to make it seem like you are some celebrity that people need to form a fan club for.

Geez, are you butt-hurt or what?

I've got stuff to do right now. I'll say more later if this thread is still open.

I was thinking about that message from Boondawg in a more general way. I have not been thinking about the particular context of it, as a message that he put into a thread that was set up with the Topic of "Let's try to laugh at how life is going...."

The context isn't as important to me as the message itself and the words that Boondawg used.

So, if Rick says that the message was out of place in that context... OK. I'm not here to argue for or against that.

Are you OK with Boondawg having said to you, in that message, that "you're a moron."..? In a message that he started by quoting a previous message from you? And quoting you by your screen name?

Putting the context aside, or putting aside this other issue that you have about it, as Boondawg going full-on Political (or "serious" and not "humorous") in a thread that was set up as "Let's try to laugh at how life is going...." (That is your issue, if I understand you.)

I went back and reviewed one of the previous messages here from Rick. I read it more carefully.

I think that I should put him down as "No, I am not OK that Boondawg said 'You are a moron,' when the 'you' that Boondawg was referring to was me."

That's the first thing that caught my eye, when I looked at that message from Boondawg.

Does that help?

I would rather have people name names than just leave "general" comments about "someone".
If Boon has something to say, then let it fly.
I honestly do not think avoiding names makes a person more wise, principled or virtuous. Yes some things are generally speaking and no need for names, but if a comment is directed at a single person, then avoiding the use of their name or screen name is saying that you are afraid of confrontation, and if this is true, then just don't say anything at all about the un-named person. Cliff had to practically pull teeth to get Patrick or you to name Randye. Why? Makes no sense to me, if you have a complaint and vocalize it, then follow through the entire swing, done stop short.

Yes, good idea. Let's be honest about it.

From 07-23-2020 6:10 PM to 07-26-2020 7:10 PM, a total of three days, you PM'd me seven times(!)... and I responded four times. Between your PM onslaught, and you chasing me around the forum looking for attention... to be honest, you were starting to creep me out.

Might be healthier for you to acquire a pen-pal.

Uhh, yah well (my best Jake from All State) I use PMs. I have 5 from today alone. It saves threads from conversations that do not necessarily need to bother others. That's kinda how it works.
If you are so creeped out, report it to Cliff. He may be able to review the validity of your victimhood.
Count you number of posts in threads and it is likely to be more than 7 in 3 days.
Maybe you could actually address my posts with an actual answer rather than insults and false accusations, that would be cool.
You seem to love arguing but all of a sudden a cat got your tongue and you are a victim??
I don't care that you are less than civil with me, it's your character that is in question with your insults and false accusations. I have yet to insult you, as a matter of fact calling you a hypocrite is a factual statement, not intended to be an insult.

A victim of who? You? In your dreams, buddy... in your dreams.

Sorry, but you're nothing more than a minor annoyance, like a dripping faucet. And about as repetitive!

So, with keeping that in mind... you should have no problem with me calling you an arsewipe.

THIS is one of the reasons I don't frequent PFF as often as I used to and one of the reasons we've lost a few good members. Give it a rest, guys. If someone is being stalked, tell Cliff. If not, LET. IT. GO.

Full disclosure... I drink Almond Milk. It's fake... I know... but it gives me about 80% of what I'm looking for, with none of the negative health effects. Cholesterol is something I'm concerned about and need to keep at a low level. I used to think Cholesterol was something that only affected people who were overweight, but I'm slim and it's something I've had to manage. I don't take pills... but only because I cut back on red meat, cheese, and dairy. I know... sucks getting old.

So I use almond milk in my coffee (unsweetened) and on the rare occasion I eat cereal. It's really not all that bad. I've had cashew milk, and coconut milk... but almond milk is the closest to 2%. I've never had soy milk. I grew up with milk though as a kid... drank it every morning until I turned 18 and moved out of the house.

I will try the best I can do to be as fair as possible, but in all honesty, we are all different people and what might be totally unacceptable for you, can be acceptable for me. On top of that, I'm Dutch. And one thing the Dutch are famous for, is their tolerance. But even so, it still could be that some things are totally unacceptable for us, while no problem for you.

To give an example of the latter, quite a while ago someone was discussing a Seinfield episode where he (Seinfield) was talking about the "Soup-Nazi". Just using the word "nazi" is incredibly offensive for us Europeans. And particularly in this context. As if denying someone soup is just as bad as killing millions of innocent people.

In short, as long as you treat others with respect, I'm fine with that. Heated discussions? Fine. I really won't ban someone for saying "Are you crazy? I disagree!". As you said, we are all adults here. It shouldn't be all that difficult to not cross the (my) line.

Are you crazy ? I disagree, . A non-quantifiable line ?

I forgot to mention ... I would like to ask you to reopen the thread. Mass mailed balloting whether requested or not, based upon predictable unreliable voting registrations of past, is going to have a historic impact of our elections and the World.
