I guess it's Jimmy Page in the purple pants... but he looked to me like Ritchie Blackmore, from... Deep Purple of course.
But yeah, the Yardbirds were a great band. I always loved the sound of the guitar in this song. Very different! (Ignore the advertising in this video, but it was the best audio/video quality version of this song.)

In 1950, Korner married Roberta Melville, daughter of art critic Robert Melville.[15] Korner died of lung cancer aged 55 years, on 1 January 1984.[4] He was survived by a daughter, singer Sappho Gillett Korner (died 2006) and two sons, guitarist Nicholas 'Nico' Korner (died 1988) and sound engineer Damian Korner (died 2008).

The guy with the red ES-345 still plays that same guitar to this very day. The guy with the Tele was just sitting in that day. He was there as part of Bob Dylan's band, though he did join Butterfield later that year.

I had never heard of Harry Gibson previously. Holy smokes, what a strange fellow!
OK, now listen to Charlie Christian in 1941. Remember, the US had not yet entered WWII when these were recorded:
Charlie Christian died at the age of 25, but is still one of the most influential guitar players of all time. The pickup on those Gibsons that he played is still known as the "Charlie Christian pickup".
