That's two more impeachment managers than the seven-person lineup that Pelosi sent to the Senate for President Trump's first trial that started in January 2020 and ended on February 5, 2020.

It's an all new team of managers, with no carryovers from Impeachment Trial I, which has become known in Impeachment history as "The Immaculate Phone Call."
Pelosi was characteristically upbeat about her squad's chances. "With this younger lineup, we're definitely giving up some 'gravitas', compared to the original Seven, but we're looking for more quickness and versatility. Adding two more managers gives us downfield options that we didn't have before, and we'll be opening up our playbook to get our running backs out on the edges, instead of mostly rushing between the tackles like we did in 'I'.
It's worth noting that this is just one day after the New England Patriots' venerable and legendary head coach Bill Belichick declined the White House's offer to accept the Presidential Medal of Freedom award from President Trump.

In December 2020, Swalwell was named in a report about suspected Chinese spy Christine Fang.[55][56] Axios reported that Fang participated in fundraising for Swalwell's 2014 congressional election bid, met Swalwell at events, and helped place an intern inside Swalwell's congressional office; Swalwell swiftly ended ties with Fang after being warned by federal agents around 2015. Swalwell was not accused of any impropriety according to a U.S. intelligence official
WASHINGTON -- U.S. President Donald Trump was impeached by the U.S. House for a historic second time Wednesday, charged with "incitement of insurrection" over the deadly mob siege of the Capitol in a swift and stunning collapse of his final days in office.
With the Capitol secured by armed National Guard troops inside and out, the House voted 232-197 to impeach Trump. The proceedings moved at lightning speed, with lawmakers voting just one week after violent pro-Trump loyalists stormed the U.S. Capitol, egged on by the president's calls for them to "fight like hell" against the election results.
Again the left has shown that their fear and seething hatred have overridden any rational thought, and have chosen once more to follow a counterproductive, pointless and divisive path.

The Senate trial will not start until after the inauguration, so regardless of who voted for impeachment, the misguided fiasco is (as I said above) counterproductive, pointless and divisive.
The leftists are assuaging their fear and hatred by staging a flamboyant pageant "full of sound and fury, signifying nothing". It is a tale told by Pelosi.

I find it hilarious that they are so scared of the man and think that the 80 million supporters will go away.
The government is supposed to fear the governed. The Capitol high jinks was just a gentle reminder.
The Dems are doing this because of Trump supporters, not really Trump. They're doing it to Donald so that his supporters have to watch them get the last laugh. Because of the Capitol shutdown.

I agree. We have many, too many flaws in our system. Worse is that sometimes, umm, most times, they only vote when they get all the pet funding projects into a Bill's issue. Our latest Covid relief Bill is a joke with only a minuscule amount of money going for Covid relief.
If you call 10 out of over 200 republicans 'bipartisan'.
138 Republicans voted to object the election results due to disproven conspiracy theories, so I thought getting 10 was good enough for the bipartisan qualifier.
It's understood that the left (both foreign and domestic) hate DJT. Please enlighten me/us as to exactly what this Impeachment is supposed to accomplish.
The "trial" will not occur until after the man is out of office. Seems to me the Dems, who now control the Senate, the House and the Oval Office have governing to do. Some of that governing would be what their constituents voted them into office to do.
I have never liked DJT personally but, he got a lot of good things done. I see this as President (elect) Biden's opportunity to start healing the division in this country but, it does not appear that's a priority. Only time and legislation will tell. Words and actions matter and have consequences.

The right hates him too. Romney, Paul Ryan, McCain(hated). Press hates him for being called what they are.

Insert youtube video of woman saying all her bills are going to be paid because Obama/Biden got elected.
Then BLM started looting the country.

Can't argue with that but, based on your theory, one would have been sufficient to call it bipartisan.
I think it's important to remember that it's almost impossible to get and keep everyone on the same side in just about anything, especially politics. Even a Democrat coming from a closely contested purple state has to consider how he/she voted because it could come back to bite them.
