HI all

2014 Cruze with a 1.8

My car is throwing the above mentioned code. My guy tells me it could be any component in the system, and doesn't want to start replacing all kinds of pieces if they don't need it. He also told me that this is a fairly big problem for GM. From his expertise it looks like a software problem, and tells me there isn't a reason to continue driving.

Any one have experience with this code? Any one with a hint?

Thanx all,

Earick

Yea, clean the battery terminals, if its low voltage. If its high voltage, replace the alternator.

You can watch the voltage on the in-dash system. If its between 12.5-15v its normal but watch for anything out of that range to tell you if its a low or high error
