I dunno if you know about crazy carts. These things are bad friggin arse for any age. Its a powered front wheel with 2 casters on the back. The casters are attached to a bar that rotates and has a lever. The casters are canted back slightly at rest so they track. Once the lever is pulled up, the casters become level and can spin any direction.
A company named razor makes them

These guys take em to new heights

But theyre super easy and simple to make, ive made 2 now and they are a hit! My 6yo and my 60something yo neighbor ride. He went hella slow but its still fun, you can drift at any angle.

I made one from a razor pocket bike, and another one from a razor scooter, using 3/4 emt for the framing, and modding some casters to fit skateboard wheels. Kept the seat and faring, a broken shovel handle for the bar, and used a boat wheel for the steering. I call this the silly cart because it makes everyone laugh when they see it

This things limited in drifting range since I used the triple tree of the bike as the steering tube. Only goes up to almost 90 before starting to spin out, but thats when you give it more gas and drive that direction. Start a turn then pull the drift bar and the back end starts to come around, then stay on the gas and it will drive that direction at whatever angle you stopped it at. When you want it to drive straight again, just lower the drift bar and the back wheels will catch. Since I made mine from razor stuff, there was already a brake to use.

Heres the sit down adult size cart thats almost finished made from a scooter so the steering goes all the way around. Can do full 360s at speed w this beast and drive at any angle. 500w motor and controller. need to put some front mini casters on the corners and get a proper seat

All made from leftover parts I had at home except the emt and some hardware

You will be hooked once you try. I set up a few cones in the driveway and my kid and I do figure 8s and drive down the sidewalk sideways. Crazy silly fun!

get you some!
