This sounds like fun!

It's too early for me to commit to being there, but plenty of warning and a mostly free summer makes me optimistic! Got some friends that just moved to Monterey, and this seems like a great opportunity to visit them as well. NICE!

URGENT NEWS to those have considered joining us Saturday --
The Monterey/Carmel Drive must once again be postponed due to the wild fire that we had hoped would be contianed by now.

Massive Big Sur Wildfire Scorches 37 Square Miles As Weather Heats Up

The air quality at both the Mission and the lighthouse are not good, the lighthouse is closed for tours until things clear up, and the majority of traffic in the area is emergency vehicles trying to access and fight the fire. Once the lighthouse re-opens and can re-schedule us, we will let you know.
