I'm afraid I'll have to politely disagree with you on this. Stan is who he is, but he doesn't need to attack people in this manner. He has a neg from me, and that won't change...because he won't change.

I've seen many people attacked here that you didn't rush to defend. If you feel it's a matter of principle to now defend Stan, I submit you should be quite busy defending everyone else equally or you're just as hypocritical as those you complain about.
I didn't give him a "pass". I didn't give him anything. I just ignored him.

The question is how many of those green are from currently active members? He has 420 some odd ratings currently. Last I looked there was only 37 members currently active on the forum (as in at this very moment I wrote this). There were only 213 posts yesterday from members and that doesn't mean 213 different members posted, it means 213 members submitted a new post. 20 of those posts could have been from the same member. That's the whole reason Cliff created the trending system, because people were insulated behind positives from members that don't even visit the forum anymore. But, whatever, keep calling foul and not realizing that the forum doesn't have that many active members and that much traffic even though Cliff has posted about that very thing.
I have 117 ratings. I bet if I could look at a list of who gave me those ratings, we would find at least half of those are from members that are now inactive.

For the record I hold a Marine to a higher standard not give him slack . Some like to preface their remarks to him with"I appreciate your service" I don't appreciate his service. Me? It isn't what Stan has said that I gave him a neg (which was long ago), and it hasn't nothing to do with his hatred of others either. What a man says and what a man does is two different things in my book and I put more weight on what a person does. When Stan bragged about going through a lot of mail order brides as if they were nothing but sex toys to throw away, that did it for me.
Stan feels he deserves respect and honor for being in the military, a christian and a god fearing patriot of the USA. To me, if you treat women like crap and take advantage and use women like he does, then he has no honor and deserves no respect. I know it is just me and just a deeply held value that I have, but I have no respect for dirty old men who take advantage of poor women from other countries just to be used as sex toys and thrown away.

Interesting. What I dismissed as typical bullsh!t male bravado was what you keyed on as something worthwhile to judge Stan by. I was more concerned with how his hateful diatribes would make his "targets" feel as they read that endless drivel here. I knew his hateful diatribes were real, as I could see them for myself.
